RFPIO is looking for an experienced Information Security Advisor to work with our Product Engineering, Infosec, Sales & Presales teams to serve as the subject matter expert in cloud security and architecture providing confidence and assurance to prospects and customers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Participate in prospect or customer discussions related to technical and infrastructure security.
- Work with product engineering & security engineering teams, create reusable customer shareable technical security collaterals based on customer asks for providing the required information security assurance.
- Supports the CISO office through timely delivery of internal security audits (eg : ISO, SOC -2) by collaborating with multiple teams
- Respond to information security questionnaires, Inquiries, Queries, RFI/RFPs, other due diligence documents.
- Perform Contract Reviews (MSA, DPA, BAA, etc.…) for the applicable/related to information security obligations.
- Advise and Coach the existing team members on upskilling their technical security knowledge.
- Research on global security trends and consistently update policy and security documents to support customers concerns from various verticals
- Serve as the security advisor to the Devops and Product engineering teams on potential vulnerabilities and security threats
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical Specialization
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in Information Security roles (Application Security Architecture or Security Pre Sales or Solutioning)
- Experience in Cloud services/technology (AWS) around information security.
- Any experience as a Pre-Sales/Solution Engineering for a Cloud Service provider (preferably AWS) or SAAS setup is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Good understanding and knowledge of web frameworks and architecture.
- Excellent presentation and training skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate concisely and unambiguously
